The hardwoods — oak, hickory, birch — are budding out. Blooms linger on the wild plums. The hills show muted shades of early green. The osprey circle above the lake and the rabbits are everywhere.
We had frost the past two mornings but the afternoons are clear, dry and warm.
It’s just spring beside the Allegheny Reservoir.
Spring in Oklahoma, also, Proof? two days of tornados. None too close to us, thank goodness. Enjoying the warm.
