July is for friends and family

Posted on July 25, 2023

After 3 months of being limited digital communication with those that matter, I had friends and family here thrice in July.

Great friends Clark Langley and, two days later, Sharon Staehs came for brief visits. Wonderful people, wonderful visits… too brief in both cases.

Then, four days ago, daughters Katie and bonus son Scott arrived for a similarly short stay. Over the course of a sight-seeing day we visited the Kinzua Sky Walk (way to go, Katie!) and lunched 20 miles down the lake at Wolf Run Marina.

For three consecutive, terrific weeks I had guests who laughed and rolled their eyes every time I complained about the heat.

We very much enjoyed our stay with you. Happy to help with the awning repair. Hanging with Millie was a definite added bonus. Such a great Camp Host dog.

Sounds lovely. I had friends camp at my campground last week. They had me over for dinner and a campfire. It was great. Didn’t realize my golf cart had no headlights, so came home very slowly in the dark from loop G to loop A, using the flashlight on my phone. I love camp hosting!
