Back in Willow Creek valley

Posted on April 6, 2024

We made a brief stop at Geneva-on-the-Lake — Michelle’s first at look at a Great Lake (Erie, in this case) –then pressed on through cold rain and flurry-ing snow, arriving yesterday at familiar campsite 2, Willow Bay Campground.

Despite anticipated cloudiness, we’re expecting a full campground for Monday’s total eclipse. Yes, we’re in the path of totality.

My friend Ron Bradley stopped by for a brief chat and I’ll likely renew acquaintances with several others in the next few days. Millie visited the boat ramp, running joyous circles. Michele is settling into camper life. I report for duty tomorrow.

It’s good to be back.
