haiku from the road

Posted on October 30, 2023October 31, 2023

A travel haiku
urged by good friend James Draper:
You can, just do you

Near Memphis in rain
Dodging dead deer and truck tires
Clutt’ring up my lane

    Bill on the road now
    Writing for our pleasure still
    His mind never rests
